Chase is focussed, specific, fun to work with yet serious about the work and his own process. I was incredibly impressed by his ability to embody Konstantin and he didn’t hold back when it came to entering the character’s headspace which was a huge psychological and emotional challenge [...] Towards the end of the process, I didn’t feel like I was looking at Chase anymore - which is a clear marker of his ability to transform and commit completely to the world of a play. He understands and relishes complex texts and is very self-motivated with his work and attention to detail. He also takes notes brilliantly and incorporates them fully into the work.
Chase is a very talented, intelligent performer with an excellent understanding of Shakespeare and verse [...] [he] has a hyper-present, focussed quality which is so exciting to watch, and was always eager to try new things whilst also bringing past training, experience and knowledge into the room.
Chase was a total joy to work with, a consummate professional. He always brought such dedication, commitment to the room and was always curious and open.
He is clearly a very driven performer [and] has been a wonderful member of the team [...] His work displays outstanding levels of skill.
His understanding of Shakespeare’s language is great and his attention to detail in choices is fantastic. Plus, he’s great at taking a note.
As for Studinski, the young Alan Cumming’s subtle brilliance [...] proves deliciously droll and utterly fabulous.
Gifted with awesome comic timing, Chase Studinski is a true standout.
Chase Studinski stands out from the pack [...] He’s an excellent singer and a transformative actor.
Standouts in the large cast are Studinski’s preening James I...
I enjoyed Studinski’s foppish King James I...
